Alan R. Sarvas, 51, Avid Outdoorsman

Photo of Alan R. Sarvas Alan R. Sarvas, 51, of Cleveland, formerly of Lorain passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland following a brief illness.

Mr. Sarvas born in Lorain on October 12, 1964, the son of the late John and Toletha Loretta (nee Emerick) Sarvas.

A longtime resident of Lorain, he had been employed in the environmental services department as a health and safety specialist with Sierra Lobo, Inc.

He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things, out of doors activities, especially boating, fishing, camping and archery. Recently, he found great enjoyment in spending time with his son; sharing movies, then dinner and playing video games.

Mr. Sarvas is survived by his daughters Jessica M Sarvas, Samantha N Sarvas, his son ,Joshua A Sarvas all of Sheffield Lake, brothers Brian P. (Christine) Sarvas of Amherst, Evan E. (Mary Kay) Sarvas of Bexley, Duane D. Sarva, of Lorain and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. inn the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. The Rev. Michael J. Denk, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst will officiate.
