Marian E. Cox, 54, Enjoyed Reading her Daily Devotionals
Marian E. Cox, 54, of Akron, formerly of Lorain passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron following a long illness.
Ms. Cox was born in Fall River, MA on July 24, 1961, the daughter of Robert Cox of Palm Beach, FL and the late Marie (nee Alves) Church. She was a graduate of Lorain High School in the class of 1979.
She worked as a administrative assistant at Infocision in Fairlawn.
Ms. Cox enjoyed reading her daily devotionals and spending time with her cats.
She is survived by her daughter Talia (Robert) Miller of Akron, sisters Gail (Chris) Castro, Letti (Michael) Taylor, Michelle Gum all of Lorain, brothers Junior Gum of Washington, DC and Scott Gum of Tampa, Florida.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter Treasure Dougan in 2003.
Friends may call on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 5:00 pm. until the Funeral Services at 7:30 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1120 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio. The Rev. Paul K. Barry will officiate.
Burial will be private in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Amherst Township.
