Annie J. Blankenship, 76, Enjoyed Visiting Friends and Reading

She was born September 3, 1939 in Olive Hill, Kentucky and had resided in Lorain for over 55 years.
Annie was a member of Christian Life Church in Lorain. She enjoyed the computer and keeping in touch with family and friends on Facebook, visiting friends and reading.
She is survived by her children Judy Howard (Mark) of LaGrange, Kentucky, Bill W. Blankenship (Eileen) of Wooster and James E. Blankenship (Teresa) of Avon Lake, grandchildren: Brian Howard (Tara), Amanda Kuntz (Michael), Angela Howard, Brandon Howard, Sasha Strouse, Jeremiah Yugulis, Matthew Blankenship (Rachel) and Amber Blankenship; brothers James Greene, Jr (Phillis) of Lorain and Billy Green of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Lacy Blankenship in 1993 and parents James & Nora Green (nee Clay).
The family will receive friends Wednesday Feb. 17th from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Thursday Feb. 18th at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel with the Rev. James Justice presiding. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
