Carole J. Nibert, 79, Enjoyed Bowling & Bingo

Photo of Carole J. Nibert Carole J. Nibert, 79, of Lorain, died Monday April 18, 2016 in her home while surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

She was born December 17, 1936 in Syracuse, New York and had resided in the Lorain area for the past 36 years.

Carole had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital in West Virginia. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, reading, cooking and baking. She was a member of the American Slovak Club in Lorain.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years Morris “Whitey” Nibert of Lorain, children: Mary Roach (Tim) of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, James Utterback (Kay) of St. Albans, West Virginia and Barbara Reinhart (Robert) of Lorain; stepson James Nibert (Sun) of Radcliff, Kentucky; grandchildren: Jennifer Rose (William) of Milton, West Virginia, Amanda Evick (Chad) of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Amy Reinhart of Lorain and Joseph Reinhart of Chattanooga, Tennessee; step granddaughter Mishell Nibert of Radcliff, Kentucky and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Utterback, grandson Nathan Simms, mother Helen Yeomans (nee Adams), father Lynn Yeomans and brother Donald Yeomans.

Private family cremation services will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
