Robert G. Slover, 62, U.S. Army Veteran
Robert G. Slover, 62, of Columbus passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at his home following a long illness.
Mr. Slover was born in Cleveland on February 6, 1954, the son of the late Samuel and Ruth (nee Duncan) Slover. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked constructing greenhouses and as a stockman local grocery store in Columbus.
Robert is survived by sisters, Sharon Schramm of New London, Brenda Adkins of Elyria, Debbie Slover of Polk, Beverly Slover of Lorain, and a brother Randy Slover of Lancaster,
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Andy Slover, Glen Slover, and Ronnie Slover.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio.
The Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain assisted the family with arrangements.
