Carolyn Ann Rose, 71, Enjoyed Bowling and Family Card Games

She was born August 26, 1945 in Lorain to Carl and Helen Greenfield. She was a lifelong resident.
Carrie was a waitress at the Friendly’s Restaurant in Elyria for many years until its closing in 2013, and the former New York Deli in South Lorain. She enjoyed bowling, family card games, playing Cornhole and going to casinos. Carrie was a prolific writer. She was a life member of St. Lad’s Club, Lorain.
She will be deeply missed by her Sons Jerry (Kathy) Rose and Tony Rose both of Lorain; daughter Lisa Pettit of Lorain; grandchildren Heather, Scotty, Timmy Bubba, Anthony, Oliva, Nathan and Ceana; great grandchildren Haleigh, Demi, Tristan, Michael and Chase and her friends.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; step mother Fritzi Greenfield and brothers Richard and Ronald Greenfield; her former husband J. C. Rose and her companion James Swords.
Her family will receive friends Monday, October 3rd from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Her funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the funeral. Pastors Jim and Wallace Justice will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
