Timothy J. Stack, Sr., 57, Loved Spending Time with Family and Friends

Photo of Timothy J. Stack, Sr. Timothy J. Stack, Sr, 57, of Avon Lake passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at UH St. John's Medical Center in Westlake surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Stack was born in Lorain on November 21, 1958, a son of Anne (nee Minnich) Stack of Lorain and the late George P. Stack. He was a graduate of Lorain High School in the Class of 1976. He also was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Technology in HVAC.

He attended St. Mary Church in Lorain.

Mr. Stack worked as a plant operations specialist at Lorain County Community College in Elyria for 27 years retiring in 2011.

The most enjoyable times of his life were spending time with friends and family; he enjoyed cooking on the grill, woodworking, hunting, golf, carpentry, lake boating and beach vacations. He enjoyed "fixing" projects and was affectionately known as " Mr. Fix It" and had a tee shirt to prove it.

Mr. Stack is survived by his wife Kathy L. (nee Kovalsky) Stack, daughter Sarah D. (Jeremy) Stack-Munoz of Lagrange, sons Timothy J. Stack, Jr. of Vermilion, John M. (Gwen) Stack of Cleveland, his mother, 10 loving grandchildren, step daughter Mandy M. (George) Gomez of North Ridgeville, step son Joshua J. (Megan) Krajnak, of Bay Village, sister, Janet A. (Robert) Miller of Amherst, brothers George "Pat" Stack of Tulsa, OK, Christopher W. (Lori) Stack of Lorain, Gary F. (Gayle) Stack, of Vermilion.

Friends may call on Saturday October 1, 2016 from 10:00 until 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, corner of 8th and Reid Ave. Father Daniel O. Divis, pastor will be the celebrant.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to University Hospital Hospice, 4510 Ridgemont Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44128 or St. Marys Food Bank, 710 7th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
