Manuel Robles, 43, Will be Dearly Missed
Manuel Robles, 43, of Amherst, died Friday September 30, 2016 in the intensive care unit at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain after a short illness.He was born June 25, 1973 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Amherst area resident.
Manuel graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst where he was active in drama and the band. He attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Theology in 1997.
Manuel worked at the United Church of Christ Camp at Temple Hill in Bellville, Ohio from 1993-2008. He enjoyed literature, philosophical debates and socializing.
He is survived by his mother Julianna Robles (nee Stipe) of Amherst; brothers: Carlos M. Robles (Diana) of Cleveland and Robert D. Robles (Stephanie) of Amherst; sister Irene Kimes of Lorain; niece Aereana Robles and nephew Jason Kimes. He was preceded in death by his father Carlos F. Robles in 2005 and brother Steven M. Robles in 2007.
The family will receive friends on Monday October 3rd from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ, 1691 E. 31st St, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am in the church with the Rev. Peter Toth, pastor, presiding. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
