Kathleen J. Casey, 64, Enjoyed Spending Time With Family
Kathleen J. Casey (nee Pruchnicki), 64, of Elyria, died Saturday October 8, 2016 at Oak Hills Nursing Home in Lorain after a short illness.
She was born November 1, 1951 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Kathleen graduated from Lorain High School. She worked in security at Gold Circle in Lorain and JC Penney in Elyria retiring after 26 years. Later, she worked as a cashier at Giant Eagle in Avon until 2011.
Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Fitzpatrick (Garrett); grandchildren: Brandon, Alexis & Aliyah; sister Christine Chamale (Helmuth); brother Frank David Pruchnicki and several nieces and nephews including niece and caregiver Amanda. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Katherine Pruchnicki (nee Sas) and sister Marilyn Wilbond.
The family will receive friends Friday Oct. 14th from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 7:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Cremation will follow.
