Peter J. Recznik, Jr., 83, U.S. Army Veteran

He was born August 7, 1933 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Pete graduated from St. Mary High School in Lorain and served with the US Army as a Corporal during the Korean War.

Pete was a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with his friends. He enjoyed his computer and the internet.

He is survived by his son Tony Recznik of Naples, Florida, sister Dorothy Golowenski of Lorain and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Eula Recznik, son David Recznik and parents Peter J. Recznik Sr and Angeline Recznik (nee Borowicz).

Funeral services will be held Friday October 14th at 10:00 am at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
