Ana M. Carrion Castro, 79, enjoyed Spending Time with Her Family

She was born to Lucilla Gonzalez Viera and Jorge Prieto in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. She came to Lorain in 1948.
Ana retired from Ford Motor Co., Cleveland Casting Plant, Brookpark, UAW #1250. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking for others, shopping and watching the sunsets at Lakeview Park.
Survived her children Robert (Marilyn) Carrion, Ernesta (Chico) Baldwin, Osvaldo (Amy) Carrion, Samuel (Deborah) Carrion, and Sulma Witherspoon; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; her siblings Laura Prieto Vazquez, Nereida Gonzalez, Olga Prieto, Nilda Prieto, Luis Prieto, Carmin Prieto, Freddie Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez Jr., Daisy Gonzalez, Rosemary Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, Henry Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, and Johnny Gonzalez.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jorge and Lucilla Prieto; her siblings Luis Papo Gonzalez and Francis Gonzalez.
Her family will receive friends Thursday, October 27 from 4 to 8 PM at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Friends may also call Friday from 8:30 AM until time of her Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will be the Celebrant.
