Margaret I. Baum, 88, Proud of Her Hungarian Heritage
Margaret I. Baum, 88 of Lorain, died Monday October 24, 2016.She was born December 28, 1927 in Lorain, and remained a lifelong resident.
She was a sales associate at Ted Jacobs Store for 20 years, retiring in 1998.
Margaret was a parishioner of St. Mary Church, and was a strong supporter of the Jesuit Missions in India. She was especially proud of her Hungarian heritage.
She is survived by her sons Lawrence (Michele) Baum of Irondale, AL, Rev. Terrence Baum, S.J. of Kansas City, MO, and Mark (Pamela) Baum of Arlington Heights, IL, grandchildren Megan (Justin) Self, Maureen, Gregory, and Nicholas Baum, and great grandchildren Olivia and Tyler Self.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Gall, her husband Franklin Baum in 1977, two brothers and two sisters.
Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday October 28, 2016 at St. Mary Church, Seventh and Reid Ave. in Lorain. Rev. Terrence Baum, S.J. will officiate.
Memorial contributions if desired can be made to St. Mary Church building fund.
