Anna M. Lopez, 63, Avid Softball Player

She was born June 21, 1953 in Lorain. She was a lifelong resident of Lorain. Anna retired from Lorain City Schools as a teacher of English as a Second Language and GED classes. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid Softball player, enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Browns.

Anna will be dearly missed by her brothers, Rudy (Sally) Lopez, David (Susan) Lopez, Manuel (Nina) Lope; sister Yolanda (Jose) Brillon, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews all of Lorain.

Anna was preceded in death by her mother Lupe Lopez (née Amador), grandparents Pedro and Santos (Adame) Cortes Amador, and her brothers Jose Lopez, Armando Lopez.

Her family will receive friends Sunday, October 30, from 2 to 6 pm at Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. A private burial will be at a later date.
