Tessie M. Hernandez, 54, Loved Being with Her Grandchildren
Tessie M. Hernandez, 54, of Lorain, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 13, 1962 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. Tessie worked as a CNC Operator for Western Enterprises in Avon Lake for over 15 years. She was a very artistic. She enjoyed painting and music. Tessie loved being with her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her mother Martina “Marta” Hernandez of Chicago; children Laiza (Andres) Dominguez and Ivelisse Nieves both of Lorain; step sons Lucas, Luis and David Morales all of Lorain and Luis Otero of Lorain; granddaughters Alisandra Chaney and Annaiss Toro; brothers Roberto Ortiz of Cleveland, Luis and Fernando Santiago of Chicago and Joselito Santiago of Waterbury Connecticut; sisters Maria Correa and Sandra Martinez both of Chicago.
Tessie was preceded in death by her father Rosalie Ortiz and her grandmother Maria Burgos Cabrera.
Her family will receive friends Friday, November 4, from 4 until time of service at 7 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
