Sandra P. Sikora, 65, Enjoyed Spending Time with Grandchildren

She was born January 29, 1951 in Strange Creek, West Virginia, grew up in Sheffield Lake and resided in Lorain most of her life.
Sand graduated from Brookside High School in 1969 and attended Lorain Cosmetology School. She worked as a hairdresser at Marcel Beauty Shop in Lorain for 25 years and then worked at Michael’s in Elyria as a framing manager for 10 years.
Sand enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping, traveling, spending time outdoors, crafts, quilting and woodcarving.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Buzz Sikora; twin sons: Benjamin (Summer) Sikora of Amherst and Nathaniel (Michelle) Sikora of North Lima and Natalie (John) Suster of LaGrange, Kentucky; grandchildren: Kaden Sikora, Aubrey Sikora, Cassandra Sikora, Izzy Sikora, David Koleno, Matthew Koleno, Emily Koleno and Hannah Gfell; sister Susan (John) Zaborowski of Sheffield Lake; brother William (Barb) Wilson of Sheffield Lake; sisters: Polly (Alex) Karabogias of Lorain, Nancy Sperry of Oberlin, Linda (Gary) Schmitz of Sheffield Lake and Leona Wilson of Oberlin and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene & Katherine Wilson (nee Bragg).
The family will receive friends Sunday November 6th from 2-4; 7-9 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday November 7th at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Chris Robinson, chaplain of Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
