Rose M. Prill, 88, Enjoyed Gardening and Baking Cakes

Photo of Rose M. Prill Rose M. Prill, 88,(nee Glading) of Lorain passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Mercy-New Life Hospice in Lorain.

Mrs. Prill was born in Lorain on August 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Wesley E. and Rosa G.
(nee Holdsworth) Glading. She was a graduate of Lorain High School in the class of 1946.

She was a member of the VFW Sheffield Lake Auxiliary #8686, Lorain County Art League, and was a published poet in the International Library.

Mrs. Prill enjoyed gardening, baking cakes, crocheting, making jewelry, sewing, writing letters, cooking, planning parties, music - playing the organ and piano, photography and animals. She was a self proclaimed jack of all trades and loved to work on cars.

She is survived by daughters Laura S. (Bill) Berg of Lorain, Gayle L. (Raymond) VanNiel of South Amherst, Sheila K. Massimiani of Elyria, Linda M. (James) Oliver of Meridian, ID, a step son Wayne R Prill of Biloxi, MS., grandchildren, Heather Griffith, Mila Marie Prill, Melanie MacRae, Ashley Ortiz, Wesley Massimiani and great granchildren, Mila Rose Griffith, Lily Griffith, Broderick MacRae, Cole Ortiz and Bennett MacRae.

Friends may call on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 11:00 am in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
