Artman E. Ballou, 57, Devoted Family Man
Artman E. "Artie" Ballou, 57, of Lorain passed away on Saturday, November 12 at the Specialty Hospital in Amherst following a brief illness surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Ballou was born in Sommerset, KY on March 27, 1959, the son of the late Gene E. and Wanda J (nee Hughes) Ballou. He had been employed as a pipe fitter for US Steel.
He was a devoted family man and loved to cook, motorcycle riding, watching old western movies, listening to music especially rock and roll and blues music.
Mr. Ballou is survived by a daughter, Cleo Dawn M. Case, son, Matthew G. Ballou both of Lorain, a sister Thressa Ballou of Sommerset, KY and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 5-7 p.m.. followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio.
