James C. Falcon, 80, Worshiped His Grandchildren

Photo of James C. Falcon James C. Falcon, 80 of Lorain, fell asleep in the Lord Saturday, November 26, 2016 following a battle with Leukemia.

He was born April 20, 1936 in Clarksville, Pennsylvania. Jim lived in South East Cleveland for 33 years, before coming to Lorain 17 years ago. He retired as a Crane Operator from LTV Steel, Cleveland, where he worked for 44 years. JIm was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Lorain and The United Steel Workers Union Local 979, Cleveland. He enjoyed his dogs and working with his hands in his garden and his workshop. He was an avid Steelers fan. He worship his grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years Cecelia M. Falcon (née Burkus); daughter Andrea (George) Roldan of Lorain; grandchildren Breanna M and Nicholas J. Roldan; brother William (Barbara) Falcon of Walton Hills and Ronald (Cecelia) Falcon, Clarksville.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents James and Rita (née Ceccarelli) Falcon and brothers Robert and Albert Falcon.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, November 29 from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Friends may also call Wednesday from 9 AM until time of his funeral service at 10 in Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 2238 East 32st Street, Lorain, Ohio 44055. Rev. Father Joseph McCartney, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.

His family suggests memorial contributions to Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox.
