Linda A. Graber, 74, Enjoyed Crafting and Traveling

Photo of Linda A. Graber Linda A. Graber, 74, (nee Moore) passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice at St. Joseph in Lorain following a long illness, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Mrs. Graber was born in Warren, Ohio on May 22, 1942, the daughter of the late Delbert C. and Elizabeth J. (nee Bode) Moore. She was a 1960 graduate of Warren G Harding High School and in 1964 graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor of science degree in education.

She was a devoted and faithful member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church in Amherst. She served on various committees at her church, church book club, One Tank Club, Christmas Program committee and volunteered at 2nd Harvest. She also greatly enjoyed crafting and traveling.

Mrs. Graber was an elementary school teacher in the Lorain City Schools from 1964-1999. She was a member of the Lorain School Retirees, National Education Association and the Ohio Education Association.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dale, her son Robert D. (Marla) Graber of Amherst and a grandson Ryan Graber.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Moore.

A Memorial Services will be held at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 515 N. Leavitt Road, Amherst, 44001, at 11:00 am on Monday, December 12, 2016 with Rev. Jenni Walker Noyes, pastor of the Heritage Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst was private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions maybe made to Heritage Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 834, Amherst 44001 or Mercy-New Life, Hospice, c/o Mercy Foundation, 3600 Kolbe Road, Lorain 44053.
