Terrence M. O'Brien, 59, Enjoyed Cameras and Photography

Photo of Terrence M. O'Brien Terrence M. “Terry” O’Brien, 59, of Lorain, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday December 4, 2016.

He was born January 29, 1957 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain resident.

Terry worked in the maintenance department at St. Peter School and Church in Lorain from 1978 until his retirement in 2008.

He was a member of St. Peter Parish and served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Terry attended the Institute For The Achievement of Human Potential in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He enjoyed cameras and photography, country music and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his father Robert O’Brien of Lorain, brothers Kevin O’Brien of Richmond, Virginia, Timothy O’Brien of Lorain and Michael (Becki) O’Brien of Lorain; sisters Coleen (Allan) Siwierka of Elyria and Mary Kay O’Brien of Lorain and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen O’Brien (nee Grimes) in 2006.

The family will receive friends Friday December 9th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 10th at 9:00 AM in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at St. Peter Parish, 3501 Oberlin Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
