Raymond R. Baraga, Jr., 46, Enjoyed Athletics

He was born April 7, 1970 in Lorain. He graduated from Lorain High School in 1991. Ray enjoyed athletics. He was an assistant football coach. Ray was employed as a professional referee for the North Ohio Athletic Association. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Ray was a kind and generous man and will be missed by all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 18 years Deborah A. Baraga (née Crawford) of Lorain; daughter Ashley Baraga of Lorain; sons Ryan Baraga and Zachary Baraga both of Lorain; his mother and step father Laura and Nick Cajka of Lorain; brother James Baraga of Lorain; step mother Shirley Baraga of Elyria; step sisters Cathy (Earl) Bogan (née Cajka) of Higginson, Arkansas and Lisa (Carl) Sullivan of Wakeman; step brothers Chris Cajka of Lorain and Larry (Susie) Baraga of Elyria.
Ray was preceded in death by his father Ray Baraga and grandparents James and Marion Cajka.
His family will receive friends Sunday, December 11 from 2 to 6 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, where his funeral service will be Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Matt Jones, Pastor of the Broadway Assembly, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain.
