Barbara A. Lescher, 81, Loved Ice Skating

She was born July 26, 1935 in Elyria, and had resided in North Ridgeville the past 48 years.

A graduate of Elyria Business College, she worked as a Technical Coordinator for Bendix in Elyria for 31 years, retiring in 1983.

She had a love for Ice Skating. As a Professional, she taught skating at the Elyria Ice Rink from 1968-1994 where she co-produced and directed the first Ice Show in 1968.

Barbara was a very giving person, having been a member of the Gallon Club at Lorain County Blood Bank, for her generous blood donations over the years.

She was a member of Harvest Ridge Church, N. Ridgeville.

She was preceded in death by father, Ernest Lescher in 1949, mother, Beatrice Stang (nee Van Dorn) in 2000, and step father, Clarence Stang in 1971.

Friends will be received Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 12:00 pm until time of services at 1:00 pm at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Kevin Crow, Pastor of Harvest Ridge Church will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake.
