Nelida Lebron, 87, Loved to Cook and Take Care of People

Nelida was born on July 20, 1929 in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, and had lived in Lorain since 1990. She was a very faithful and religious woman who loved to cook, take care of people, and prayed often.

Surviving are her sons Roberto (Ada) Lebron of Lorain and Rafael (Nora) Lebron Brooklyn, New York; granddaughters Nancy and Jessica.

Nelida was preceded in death by her husband Rafael Lebron; her parents, Evaristo and Rosa Gonzalez and siblings, Carmen Rosa, Lucilla, Luis Felipe and Nery Gonzalez.

Her family will receive friends Thursday, January 5 from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 E. 31st Street, South Lorain. Additional visitation will be Friday at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain, from 8:30 AM until her Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
