Trajanka Jovanovski, 93, Loved Spending Time with Family and Friends

Trajanka was born June 27, 1923 in Selo Brajcino, Macedonia. She immigrated to the United States In 1970. Trajanka loved her family, gardening, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated, founding member of St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church.

Trajanka is survived by her son Risto (Lile) Jovanovski of Lorain, daughters Milica Fajstner of Sarasota, Florida, and Elka (Michael) Ioannidis of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren John (Nicole) Jovanovski and Mary (Michael) Miller both of Lorain, Silvia (Ashley) Fajstner and Caroline Greenly both of Sarasota, Florida, Amy (Bryan) Barnes of LaGrange, and Lisa (David) Lindblom of Avon Lake; great grandchildren Joseph, Colton, Madison, Lilliana, Gavin, Michael, Mackensie, Isaiah, and Nicholas.

Trajanka was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years Krstin “Kico” Jovanovski, her parents Georgi and Kostadinka, and brothers Trondo and German.

Her family will receive friends Sunday, January 8 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, where a prayer service will be conducted at 6:30 PM. Funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Road, Avon. Very Reverend Father Vasil Manasiev, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
