Miguel A. Camacho, 63, Enjoyed Watching Sports

Photo of Miguel A. Camacho Miguel A. “Hito” Camacho, 63, of Lorain passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 in his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born December 26, 1953 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident.

“Hito” graduated from Southview High School, Lorain in 1973, where he was the first 4 year football letterman. He was a 3 time Golden Glove champion. He enjoyed watching sports and hanging out with his buddies.

He worked at Ford and at the Steel Mill. He coached the Sacred Heart Baseball Team to two championships. Hito Served in the U. S. Army.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters Heather Lynn Camacho and Ali Camacho both of Lorain and Ana Marie Camacho of Elyria; son Sal Camacho of Lorain; brothers Raymond A., Jose R. “Teti” and Albert “Tilo” Camacho all of Lorain and Edwin “Babe” Camacho of Naples, Florida; sisters Ana Mendoza Camacho of Lorain and Suheil Camacho Vega of Wichita, Kansas and five grandchildren.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17 from 3 PM until time of his funeral service at 6 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.

Memorial contributions may be made the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
