Maria Ortiz, 59, Will be Dearly Missed
Maria “Lourdez” Ortiz, 59, passed away following a short illness on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, OH.
She is survived by her loving husband, Luis Ortiz; sisters, Maria Josefa Melendez and Maria Carmen Melendez; brothers, Felix Melendez, Jose Melendez, Hector Melendez, and Hector Narvaez; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Luz Maria (nee Morales) Melendez.
The family will receive friends at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain, OH on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 8:30 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM, Fr. William Thaden, Pastor, officiating. Christian burial services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH. Memorial donations may be made at the funeral home.
