Alice M. Rzaca, 90, Enjoyed Polka Dancing, Gardening and Sewing

Photo of Alice M. Rzaca Alice M. Rzaca (nee Jevec), 90, of Lorain, died Thursday January 19, 2017 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain.

She was born February 1, 1926 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Alice first worked at Lorain National Bank and then as a secretary at Nelson-Stud Welding for 10 years. She most recently worked at Januzzi Shoes as a salesperson before retiring.

She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and the former Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed polka dancing, gardening and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years Stanley F. Rzaca, son Gary F. (Sarah J.) Rzaca of Lorain and niece Kathy (Guy) Richards of Medina. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Frances Jevec (nee Pahulje), twin sister Emelie A. Boros and brother-in-law William J. Boros.

There will be no visitation. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday January 23, 2017 at 11:30 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Robert J. Glepko, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
