Wilma A. Gomez, 69, Avid Elvis Presley Fan
Wilma A. Gomez (née Grimes), 69, of Lorain passed away, Saturday, February 4, 2017, in Lake Pointe Health Care Center following an lengthy illness.
She was born January, 8, 1948 in Ravenna. Wilma attended Admiral King High School, in Lorain. She worked at U. S. Steel in the seamless pipe mill inspecting and cleaning for 10 years. Wilma was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan collecting his memorabilia and going to his concerts.
Wilma will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 50 years Angel L. Gomez, of Lorain; daughter Kathy (José) Vazquez of Lorain; sons Bruce (Michelle) Gomez of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Daniel Gomez of Lorain; sisters Wanda Delk of Sparta, Tennessee and Vernie Roman of Spencer, West Virginia; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Wilma was preceded in death by her son Angel Gomez, Jr. and her parents Albert and Virginia (née Sanders) Grimes.
