David Norman Schmock, 76, U.S. Army Veteran
David Norman Schmock, 76, died on February 7, 2017 in Avon Ohio.
He was born In Cleveland, OH on November 11, 1940 to the late Carl and Rita (nee Milano) Schmock. He is also preceded in death by his sibling William “Skip” Schmock and daughter in law Geraldine (Cox) Schmock.
He is survived by three siblings: Daniel (Valerie) Schmock of Springhill, Florida; Thomas Schmock of Temple, Georgia and Connie of Colorado; his four children David Schmock of Stem, North Carolina; Donald (Jan) of Vermilion, Ohio; Dana Burns of Elyria, OH; Daniel (Alisa) Schmock of Hartland, MI and four grandchildren, Dana Schmock, Anthony Burns, Dominic Burns and Gina Burns.
He was a disabled Army Veteran, serving 1958-1961 in the Army. He was employed as a masterful upholsterer for over three decades.
Interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 1:45 pm, 10175 Rawiga Road Seville, OH 44273. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in c/o Boyer and Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH 44052.
