Catherine V. Lopatkovich, 98, Enjoyed Cooking
Catherine V. Lopatkovich, 98, of Lorain, died Saturday March 11, 2017 at Riverview Pointe Health Care Center in Olmsted Falls.
She was born May 21, 1918 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Catherine graduated from Lorain High School in 1936 and worked in the family business, Home Dairy, as a bookkeeper. When the dairy closed, she worked as a clerk at National Pharmacy in Lorain until her retirement.
Catherine was an active member of Broadway Assembly Church in Lorain where she sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and preceded in death by her 12 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends Tuesday March 14th from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at noon at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
