Dennis R. Cataldo, 69, Enjoyed Fishing and Hunting

He was born March 26, 1948 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. Dennis retired as an electrician from U. S. Steel, Lorain in 1999. He worked there for 34 years. He worked as the property manager of the former St. Ladislaus Church in Lorain for 7 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the lake. Dennis was a member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish and the United Steel Workers 1104, Lorain.
Dennis will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 50 years in October, Joyce A. (née Blazina) Cataldo of Lorain; sons Steven Cataldo of Elyria and Dennis M. Cataldo of Vermilion; brother Thomas Cataldo of Texas; sisters Vicky Glass of Vermilion and Karen Cataldo of Columbus and 3 grandchildren.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Frank S. and Emily Cataldo (née Woranchak) and a brother Frank Cataldo.

His family will receive friends Friday, April 7 at 10:30 AM until mass at 11AM in St Frances Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Drive (at Grove Ave). Fr. John C. Retar, Pastor will be celebrant. His burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
