Catherine A. Luczkowski, 90, Talented Cook, Baker and Gardener

Catherine was born July 16, 1926 in Lorain, graduated from Lorain High School as a member of the Class of 1944-B and moved to Sheffield Village in 1949. She retired from the Kmart Corporation in Lorain. Catherine was an active and longtime parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church where she was a past member of the Ladies Altar and Rosary Society. She was a talented cook, baker and gardener.
She is survived by her daughter Jean (Steve) of Dublin, sons Jim Allen (Mary Jane) of Spencer, and Don (Kim) of Lagrange, grandchildren Kari, Kim, Gabe, Jennifer and Brian, along with great-granddaughters Audrey, Clare and Colette. She also leaves her sister Karol (Dick) Teaman of Florida, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Chester, parents Steve and Mary ( nee Pecaric) Vucic, brother Drago Vucic and sister Vera Vucic.
The family would like to thank her neighbors along with Dr. McCormick and staff at the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Visitation will be observed Friday May 5, 2017 from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in the Parish Life Center adjacent to St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1878 Abbe Rd, Sheffield Village, Ohio 44054. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in the church with Reverend Edward Smith officiating. Burial will follow in St. Teresa Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to either the St. Teresa of Avila Building Fund or to The Hospice of the Western Reserve.
