Joyce A. Brletic, 65, Enjoyed Casino Trips

She was born August 3, 1951 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain resident.
Joyce graduated from Lorain High School. She worked at the Schwebel’s Wholesale Bakery store on Pearl Avenue in Lorain as the store manager for over 38 years retiring in 2012.
She was a member of Bakers & Teamsters Union Local #19 in Cleveland. She enjoyed casino trips to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Cleveland and Toledo. She also enjoyed motorcycle rides, dancing and shopping.
She is survived by her son Jay McKiel of Lorain, brother Jerry Pennington (Ursula) of Elyria and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul & Lina Pennington (nee Wells) and brother William Pennington.
The family will receive friends Wednesday May 17th from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 18th at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel. Bishop Gary M. Lauzon, Senior Pastor of Pearlbrook Church of God in Cleveland, will preside. Cremation will follow.
