Ronald Paul Justin, 74, U.S. Navy Veteran

Ronald was born on June 18, 1942 in Elyria, Ohio. He spent part of his life enjoying the sun in Florida before returning home to Elyria where he passed away.

Ron served in the Navy and the Navy Reserves. He worked 25 years at Timms Springs and retired from Walt Disney World where he loved being able to enjoy time with his friends and family. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, softball, and life in general. He was a volunteer fireman, which he absolutely loved.

He is survived by his mother, Edna Pearl Justin (nee Morse), sister, Pamela (Dale) Hooper; brother, Scott Justin; children, Ronald (Lisa) Justin, Kelly Runser, Jason (Kathy) Justin, and Joni Page; 8 grandchildren, Candence Justin, Travis Runser, Chelsey Runser, Brianna Justin, Rylee Justin, Kaela (Matt) Hobart, Jacob Page, and David Coleman; and a great-granddaughter, Genevieve Rose.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee Avery and Elsie Edith (nee Pycraft) Morse; father, Edward Paul Justin; sister, Constance Justin; brother, Brian Justin; and granddaughter, Tabatha Justin.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH (440) 244-1961 on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 3:00 PM until closing prayers at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 41295 N. Ridge Rd, Elyria, Fr. Donald H. Dunson, Pastor, officiating and Deacon John K. Slatcoff, assisting (meet at Church on Wednesday). Private burial will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.
