Helena Mae Wallace, 86, Enjoyed Reading, Sewing & Traveling
Helena Mae Wallace, 86 of Lorain, died Thursday May 25, 2017 at her home.She was born April 29, 1931 in Lorain and remained a lifelong resident.
Helena worked as a claims representative for the Social Security office in Lorain retiring in 2000 after 30 years. Prior to that she was a receptionist for 15 years at Dr. Hettler’s Optometrists office in Lorain.
She had belonged to First Lutheran Church, and enjoyed reading, sewing and traveling.
She is survived by sons Donald Wallace of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Randal Wallace of Lorain, nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren, and a sister Edna Nelson of Springfield, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oswald and Emma Jabbusch, and brothers Erhard, Alfred, and George Jabbusch.
Friends may call Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 10:00 AM till time of Funeral Service at 12:00 PM in Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
