Jane R. Klingbeil, 74, Enjoyed Traveling
Jane R. Klingbeil, 74 died peacefully, following a short illness on June 15, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain surrounded by her family.Ms. Klingbeil was born in Lorain on July 27, 1942, the daughter of the late Edward G. and Lucille A (nee Meyer) Klingbeil. She was a graduate of Lorain High School, class of 1960-B and was a life long resident of this area.
She worked at the former Lorain Products Corporation for many years. In 1973, she graduated from the St. Joseph's School of Practical Nursing and worked at the former Amherst Hospital as an L.P.N. She spent many years as a loving caregiver for both children and the elderly and in particular her parents until their death.
Ms. Klingbeil was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain and a choir member.
She enjoyed traveling in her earlier years. She had a special love for children and animals. She had such a kind nature. She cherished the time she spent with her niece Candice, with whom she was especially close and her niece's family. She was loved by all that met her.
Jane was the sweet sister of Arlene (Timothy) Majesky of Lorain, Barbara (Donald) Shumaker of Norwalk, Donna Long of Elyria Township and loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 E. Erie Ave, Lorain from 10:00 am until mass at 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Edward Smith, pastor follow at 11:00 am.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
