Helen S. Lloyd, 95, Enjoyed Spending Time with Her Loving Family

Mrs. Lloyd was born in Johnstown, PA on September 7, 1921, the daughter of the late James and Grace (nee Maldet) Fisher. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church in Lorain. She loved reading her bible, her church and spending time with her loving family. She also enjoyed making ceramics, fishing, camping and family reunions. She delighted in the watching the Cleveland Cavalier's play.
Mrs. Lloyd never considered her sons' wife as in-laws but as daughters: She is survived by a son Ernie Lloyd of Lorain, her "daughters" Barbara Lloyd, Ernie's wife, of Lorain, and Donna Lloyd, Ed's wife of Sheffield Lake.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and her brother James Fisher of Johnstown, PA and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husband James (Chappy) Lloyd in 1998, sons James Lloyd in May of 2017, Edward Lloyd in July 2015, granddaughter Staci Lloyd in April 2012, brother Robert Fisher, sisters Junie Zuceololo, Grace Garlena, Alice Green and Betty Stevens.
Friends may call on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the funeral home with Charles Boals, Chaplain at Lorain Light House United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be next to her beloved husband in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Amherst Township.
The family suggest that memorial contributions maybe made to Mercy New Life Hospice, c/o Mercy Foundation, 3700 Kolbe Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053 or to The Lorain Light House United Methodist Church, 3015 Meister Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
The Lloyd family would like to especially thank the staff at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village and the Mercy New Life Hospice for the exemplary care given to Mrs. Lloyd.
