Edward A. Grob, 80, Enjoyed Playing Music and Teaching Guitar
Edward A. Grob, age 80, formerly of Lorain, died Monday July 3, 2017 at Amherst Manor Retirement Community. He was born April 10, 1937 in Lorain, and resided there most of his life.Edward worked as an inspector at Nordson Corp. for more than 30 years, retiring in 1999.
He had belonged to the former Christ United Methodist Church, and the Knights of Pythias. He had been a member of the Cleveland Musicians Union, and enjoyed playing and teaching guitar, he also played piano. When younger he and his brother formed a band and played at musical events.
Edward is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Adam and Della (Ruth) Grob, a sister Ruth V. Beetler, and a brother Lloyd G. Grob.
Private funeral services will take place under the direction of Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home.
