Kristopher Karl Mills, 26, Will be Dearly Missed
Kristopher Karl Mills, 26, of Lorain, passed away surrounded by his loving family Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Metro Health, Cleveland from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born September 1, 1990 in Lorain to his loving parents Karl and Jennifer (née Yontack) Mills. He graduated from Admiral King High school in 2008, where he lettered in baseball. He received the first John Popiel Award for Overall Achievement in baseball. Kris also played basketball for CYO and Lorain Community College.
Other than his parents Kris will be dearly missed by his fiancee Breanna Cruz of Lorain; his daughter Brielle Mills at home; brothers Jeremy (Trena) Mills and Nicholas Mills both of Lorain; sister Katherine Mills of Lorain; grandfather Al (Melody) Yontack of Lorain and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece Audrey Mills.
Kris was preceded in death by his brother Karl A. Mills; sister Kaitlyn Mills and grandparents Sam and Janie Mills and Patricia Yontack.
His family will receive friends Wednesday, August 10 from 3 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Closing prayers will be in the funeral home Thursday at 10:15 AM then Mass Christian Burial will be at 11 AM in St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Cavalry Cemetery, Lorain.
