Kristen N. Malinowski, 24, Will Be Dearly Missed

She was born December 3, 1992 in Lorain to Sharon Malinowski and David Howells and made her home in Lorain.
She attended St. Nicholas Catholic School and other Catholic schools and graduated from Life Skills Academy in 2010.
After high school, Kristen worked part-time at Olive Garden, Walmart and Marc’s making many friends along the way. She truly enjoyed making moments with those around her. She attended Lorain County Community College pursuing a career in the health field as this was her aspiration and followed up with helping to care for her Grandma and Grandpa Malinowski.
Kristen had a zest for life that ended tragically too soon. Her warm smile and big heart portrayed her innocence and her caring and loving ways touched so many people’s hearts that she will be missed by all.
When Kristen wasn’t working she could be found spending time with her brother Brian who was her closest and best friend as they had a close bond due to losing their mother to cancer in 2002. She will be missed by her aunt Debbie Malinowski of Lorain who embraced her and loved her as her own daughter, her Uncles Dale and David Malinowski who were supportive and loving all throughout her life and her dear grandparents Helen and Joseph Malinowski that cherished and adored her.
She is survived by her father David Howells of Vermilion, brother Brian Malinowski of Lorain, grandparents Joseph & Helen Malinowski (nee Zapotochny) of Lorain and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon M. Malinowski in 2002, grandmother Barb Finucan in 2010 and grandfather Jerry L. Howells in 2011 who resided in Florida.
The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Ave, Lorain.
