Mary Fischer, 81, Enjoyed Being with Family and Friends

She was born on January 4, 1936 in Lorain. Mary graduated from Lorain High with the 54 Gals. She was married to Frank Fischer for 44 loving years and had 5 children. Mary was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lorain. She enjoyed being with family and friends, traveling, cooking and trying new recipes, volunteering at church, going to casinos, Red Hats, outdoor concerts and watching game shows. She spent most of her life in South Lorain before moving to Amherst in 2003.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Laura Gray (Albert) of Owasso, Oklahoma, Edward Fischer (Karen) of Centreville, Virginia, Sharon Fischer-Harp (Ken) of Elyria, Susan Wickline (Mark) of Amherst and Sandra Fischer of Waxhaw, North Carolina; grandchildren Mark Steven Wickline (Christina), Andrew Mendez, Brian Gray, Timothy Wickline (Julie), Rebecca Gray, Brittany Fischer, Eddie Lee Fischer and Shu Shu, Jie Jie and Moshi Harp; great grandson, Jax Wickline; sisters Martha Teleha, Margaret Shaw and Karen Simmons and a brother, Richard Kordeleski.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank, in Jan 2002, her parents Mary and Benjamin Kordeleski and her brother Benjamin Sonny Kordeleski.
Her family will receive friends at Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31 Street, South Lorain from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, September 15. Her memorial service will be Saturday, September 16, at 11 am in Christ Lutheran Church, 4501 Clinton Ave, Lorain. Rev. Laurie A. Miller will officiate. Her burial will be at a later date.
