Rose White, 69, Former Owner of Rebate 1 Bar & Restaurant in Vermilion

She was born September 11, 1948 in Leslie Co, KY, and had resided in Lorain for 50 years.

Rose along with her husband James had owned and operated Rebate 1 bar and restaurant in Vermilion for 37 years. She also had worked as a medical secretary at St. Joseph Hospital, and a cashier at Household Finance.

She is survived by a stepdaughter Kelly Keating of CA, stepsons Robert White of CA, and Mark White of Huron, a brother Harrison (Thelma) Messer of Sheffield Twp., a sister Floris (Bill) Casto of Ypsilanti, MI, and sisters in law Eva Messer of New London, and Kathleen Messer of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband James White Jr. in 2014, parents Albert and Alice Messer, and brothers Clyde, Irvine, Eugene, Bill, Stoney, and Albert Messer.

Friends may call Sunday from 4 pm till 8 pm in Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain, where funeral services will be Monday September 25th at 11 am. Rev. Ronald Schulbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
