Neftali "Tali" Pacheco, 67, Enjoyed Fishing and Gambling

Photo of Neftali Neftali “Tali” Pacheco, 67, of Lorain passed away, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in Wade Park VA Hospital, Cleveland following a short illness.

He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on October 22 1949 to Tomasa and Benigno Pacheco. He came to Lorain in 1953.

Tali retired from U. S. Steel, Lorain in 1999. He worked there for 29 Years. He was a proud member of the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing and gambling.

He will be deeply missed by his sons David (Trisha) Pacheco and Juan Pacheco both of Lorain, Michael (Mandy) Pacheco of Copley and Benny Jackson of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter Tamika Jackson of Columbus; grandchildren Alexis Pacheco, Nico Pacheco, Dominic Torres all of Amherst, Mason Pacheco, Gianna Pacheco, Jaylen Pacheco of Lorain, Nala Pacheco of Tennessee and Michael Pacheco, Jr. of Copley; brothers Jose Pacheco of Toledo, Benigno “Benny” Pacheco of Lorain; sisters Carmen Pacheco of Lorain, Myriam (Anibal) Fontanez of Deltona, Florida and Ramona Pacheco of Cleveland.

Tali was preceded in death by his parents.

His family will receive friends Sunday, October 1 from 4 to 8 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. His funeral service will be 10 AM Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. AMVETS Post 32, Elyria.
