Robert A. Gwynn, 64, Enjoyed Hunting and Fishing
Robert A Gwynn, 64, went home to be with Jesus before the sun rise on November 4, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain after a long battle with COPD.
Robert was born October 18, 1953 in Brownsville Pennsylvania where he lived until his family moved to the Lorain area when he was nine years old.
A graduate of Southview High School Lorain, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of the Ashland Erie Game Hunt Club in Sullivan, Ohio. He worked as a maintenance millwright for most of his working years, before becoming disabled in November 2015.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years Terry (nee Sleasman). He is the loving father of Jason (Megan), Joseph (Lynne), Melinda (Dan), and Emily (Christopher) all residing in the immediate area and the loving grandfather of Hailee, Blue, Kaytlyn, Kylie, Jason, Alexis, Jayden, Cade, Mason, Peyton, and Tyler. Robert is also survived by sisters Bobby (Walter), Alverta Bert (David), Janet (Mark) and two brothers Donald and Kevin. He was a dearly loved brother-in-law, uncle, and great uncle to many. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Virginia and his sisters Neila, Virginia Ginger, and Laura.
The family will receive friends Wednesday November 8th from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 5:30 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Cremation will follow.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made on Robert’s behalf to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital 11100 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
