Charlotte K. Foisy, 77, Enjoyed Crocheting and Gardening

Photo of Charlotte K. Foisy Charlotte K. Foisy (nee Yost), 77, of Lorain, died Friday December 1, 2017 in the Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.

She was born May 5, 1940 in Fairmont, West Virginia, grew up in Mannington, West Virginia and had resided in Lorain most of her life.

Charlotte worked as a waitress at Three Star Restaurant and Vangeloff’s Restaurant. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Charlotte is survived by her children: Walter Forman (Connie), William Forman (Denise) & Debra Ward; grandchildren: Makenna Ward, Jeremy Forman (Tanya), Kelsey Santos (Raymond) & Keri Sanda (Milo), 5 great grandchildren; brother Charles N. Yost (Linda) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Fleda Jean Yost (nee Wilson) and brother Thomas D. Yost.

The family will receive friends Monday December 4th from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 5th at 10:00 am in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Gary Dorsey, pastor of Tower Baptist Church in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
