Mary Ann Gregus, 81, Enjoyed Bowling, Gardening, Baking and Crossword Puzzles

She was born July 1, 1936 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Mary Ann taught ceramics and owned and operated a ceramics store on Broadway in Lorain. Later, she worked at Lorain County Human Services in the Medicaid Department retiring after 16 years.
She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, baking and crossword puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Michael Gregus (Diane) of Avon Lake, Dane Gregus (Anita) of Lorain and Barb Bandagski (Brian) of Elyria; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son Joseph Joey Gregus in 1964, parents John & Barbara Vegh (nee Latrany) and brother Joseph Vegh.
The family will receive friends Wednesday January 3rd from 3:00-7:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 4th at 9:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Livingston Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Robert J. Glepko, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
