Dorothy S. Abel, 86, Will Be Dearly Missed
Dorothy S. Abel (nee Kochiss), 86, of Lorain, died Monday January 15, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a brief illness.
She was born February 28, 1931 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and had resided in Lorain most of her life.
Dorothy was a member of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ in Lorain and the Busy Martha Guild of the church.
She is survived by her sons: Thomas Abel of Lorain and Michael Abel (Heather) of Amherst, sister-in-law Marlene Walters (David) of Aponte Verde, Arizona and brother-in-law Jim Abel of Littleton, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Alex Abel, Jr in 2013, parents Stephen and Sophie Kochiss (nee Fuchs), sisters Anna and Margaret, brothers Stephen, Frank, Peter and Joseph Kochiss and infant twins.
Private family funeral services will be held.
