Edna Mae Chiorazzi, 96, Will Be Deeply Missed

Photo of Edna Mae Chiorazzi Edna Mae Chiorazzi (née Riggar), 96, of Lorain passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 in Amherst Manor Nursing Home.

She was born August 24, 1921 in Dunbar, Pennsylvania to Dewey and Mary Effie (née Ansell). Edna moved to Lorain in 1955 with her husband Frank and 3 kids. She worked at Woolworth department store in Oakwood Shopping Center in Lorain for 10 years and then J. C. Penny Coffee Shop at the Midway Mall in Elyria before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lorain and was very involved in the Food Co-Op and many other activities. Edna was a wonderful grandmother.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Mary (Felix) Calez of Lorain; grandsons Mark, David, Adam and Vincent Calez; granddaughters Tracy, Terri and Kelly Chiorazzi; 13 great Grand Children and 9 great great grandchildren.

Other than her parents Edna was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1990; her sons Frank, Jr. And Eddie Chiorazzi; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday, April 3 from 4 until time of funeral service at 7 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Mr. Wayne DeMarco of the First United Presbyterian Church of Elyria will officiate.
