Carol A. Vidumsky, 80, Enjoyed Traveling and Camping
Carol A. Vidumsky, age 80 of Lorain, passed away Friday April 6, 2018. She was born April 17, 1937 in Lorain, and remained a lifelong resident.Carol was a parishioner of St. Mary Church in Lorain, and a parishioner of the former St. Joseph Church.
She had been on the board of directors of the St. Joseph Homeless Shelter, and had worked at the St. Mary Food Pantry. She enjoyed traveling and camping, and the special times with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, John , her children David Vidumsky of Lorain, Christopher (Michelle C.) Vidumsky of Avon Lake, Michelle L. Vidumsky of Lorain, and Steven Vidumsky of Sheffield Twp., grandchildren Jeff, Jessica, Melissa, Jonathen, Corey, and Jace, and great-grandchildren Nikolai, Charlie, Colbie, and Jackson. She also leaves a sister Lois Rudnik, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roland and Annette Ludwig.
Friends may call Friday April 13th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday beginning with prayers in the Funeral Home at 10:30 AM followed by 11:00 AM Mass at St. Mary Church. Fr. James Becherer and Deacon Lou Maldonado will officiate.
