Darian Michael Kozich, 21, Had an Infectious Smile
Darian Michael Kozich, 21, of Lorain, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Cleveland July 13, 1996 to his loving parents Jeremy and Yolanda (née Melendez) Kozich. He was a lifelong resident of Lorain. Darian attended Murray Ridge School, Elyria. He was a loving young man, who loved to hold his Super Man stuffed doll, watch Sesame Street and cartoons. He loved different noises including loud trucks and motor cycles. He had an infectious smile.
Other than his parents Darian is survived by his brother Jeremy D. Kozich II of Lorain; his great grandmother Helen Kozich of Lorain; grandmother Cynthia Vidovich of Toledo; grandfather Randy Vidovich of Toledo; grandmother Carmen Cruz-Melendez of Lorain; grandfather Angel R. Melendez of Lorain; uncles Matthew Vidovich, Randy Vidovich Jr., Michael Melendez and Paul Ribaric all of Lorain; aunts Ana Difilippo of Lorain, Michele Aviles of Elyria, Angela Ribaric of Lorain and Ashley Melendez of Lorain and many other cousins and family.
Darian was preceded in death by his great grandfathers Donald Kozich, Angel L. Cruz and Erasto Melendez.
His family will receive friends Sunday, April 15 from 2 to 6 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. His family will also receive friends Monday from 8:30 until 9:30 AM time of his Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate. His burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain will be announced.
